The Knitty Titty Committee!

No, I'm not talking about our boobs. I'm talking about knitting prosthesis for breast cancer survivors, a fantastic idea from Yorkshire Yarns!

The Knitty Titty Committee is an effort to help mastectomy patients obtain free or low-cost knitted prostheses instead of the traditional expensive, heavy silicone versions.

If you'd like to lend your services, they have a part of their blog with knitted and crocheted ta-ta patterns!

Yarnbombing.com has posted more pictures from the Joy House Tree. Click here to view the post, or click here to see the Flickr album. Can you see any of ours?

A big thank you to everyone who listened to our radio show! A fan all the way in MA has donated yarn to the cause, a big shout-out to PR & C! If you would like to donate, please email us at knittygrittycommittee@gmail.com

Better late than never, here's my St. Patty's day bomb outside of The Half Door on Sisson Ave.
